Today, 23rd September, marks the day where we begin the 100 day countdown to the end of the year. It is an opportunity to reflect on where you have come and what adjustments you will make as the year comes to a close in just over 3 months.

As this blog focuses on Law of Attraction, think and about the things you want and focus on those on each day and spend less time dwelling on what is not wanted in your life. Here are some questions to reflect on as you go forward to end the year on a positive note:

1. What specific results have you achieved so far this year?
2. Are you healthier, wealthier, and wiser?
3. Are you winning, losing or just holding ground?
4. What results are you committed to achieve by the end of the year?
5. How have you grown and what have you learned this year?
6. Is there any unfinished business that needs to be tended to in your life?
7. Are you actively pursuing what’s most important on a daily basis?
8. What habits do you need to change to ensure better results?
9. What is the key issue that inhibits your ability to perform
at your best?

Answer these questions with total honesty and as you move forward use each precious day as an opportunity to make this part of the year the most amazing finish setting you up for an even more successful 2010.

Excuses are like mind viruses June 17, 2009

Our excuses are like mind viruses that can really quench the fire of our desires and dreams leaving us in a place of feeling stuck or in some kind of inertia about life. The important first step is to become aware of excuses and from there one can take steps to remove them, one excuse at a time.

Excuses get sealed into our minds at a very early age. According to Wayne Dyer in his latest book “Excuses begone”,  he states that excuses are mind viruses that have been transferred from other people to you such as your parents, teaches or via the TV.

Excuses become so much a part of us that they turn into reactionary habits of thinking that get to a point where we use words like, “I cant change because this is the way I am” or “this kind of thinking runs in the family” or ” I am too old, too young, too broke, to tired to make changes”

If you buy into these statement or beliefs then there is little hope you will ever go beyond them.

A decision has to be made when you can declare “If  I created these excuses then I have the power to erase them one at a time”. It is important to remember that you are in control of your thinking process and no matter how steep an excuse or addiction is you can erase it from your life as long as you have the willingness, awareness and patience to do so.

A simple exercise is to use this excuse busting formula..

When I…., then I will be able to…..

For example. When I am not suffering from fatigue then I will exercise regularly.

When I find the right job then I will be more peaceful and contented.

If you are reading this then a part of you knows that you have excuses that you are allowing to tow you around by the nose and its time to shake them off your memory banks.

This theme is quite extensive and will post more about this at a later date.

How can I set a simple goal? June 16, 2009

I have been working on goals for some years and this area is one of the most challenging areas for most people to get right. It is not just about getting clear on what they want it is also keeping the theme of the goal simple.

Most people start off focusing on what they don´t want. This is fine to a point, however, if you keep focusing on what you don´t want you will get more of the same. The key is to keep the focus on what you don´t want brief.

Brief could mean a few minutes, a few hours or a few days depending on your situation and the context. The point is not to dwell on what is wrong or what you have not got.  Instead switch to what you desire and what excites you. If there is no excitement then review what you want even if this will take you some soul searching time.

The other part to this is to get clear and keep the goal simple. For example..

“On or before 30th December 2009 I will have increased my internet earnings by $5000 a month and will have set up 10 passive income streams as well as invested in buying gold”.

The question you need to ask yourself is what is the focus of this goal? To me it has three elements which will only confuse your sub conscious and you will get nowhere with this goal even though your intentions are good.

For me the goal would feel better if I state:

On or before the 30th December, I will have generated an additional $5000 a month on the internet”

This goal is specific, with a date and I have  built in flexibility that the goal could be achieved before the 3oth December. The key here is that I am  focused on one theme – earning an extra $5000.

The Universe responds to simplicity and so I suggest that you keep it simple or as I term it the KIS (keep it simple) approach.

Going the extra mile January 12, 2009

Going the extra mile is a phrase used so often and really how many people apply this rule in order to not only excel in their field but also add that extra service or, if you will, sacrifice some of their energy to add value to others.

I write from a Law of Attraction and resonance standpoint and I know that when one takes the extra effort to go beyond the norm to deliver a service or a result it creates a form of unconditional giving.

Giving is a powerful universal vibration and I believe that going the extra mile, if applied with the right attitude, will create an attraction vacuum to attract clients or people to whatever you are offering to the market. This rule can be applied beyond business to one´s family, group of friends or wherever there is an interaction with people where you have the opportunity to give that little extra.

Applying this idea is not about busting a gut to be different or unique, it is comming from a sincere wilingness to give that extra service  -  like making that courtesy call to an old client or sending a thank you card to a client who has just purchased your products.

Think about how you can go the extra mile and add that new edge that will set up the attraction of goodwill from others.

Financial crisis and mental attitude January 7, 2009

As we move into a new year in 2009, is there a way out of the doom and gloom of the economic prospects we all keep hearing about in the media and the people around us?

The general belief from people in many different countries is that this year is going to be a a very challenging year. This collective belief breeds so much uncertainty and many millions of people will become paralysed by holding such thoughts.

Thoughts, if repeated over and over again become beliefs. The beliefs we hold about the world we perceive become our truth. We have individual beliefs and collective beliefs. We have community beliefs and national beliefs.

Many of these beliefs that we have picked up along the way actually do not support us and keep us stuck in fear and uncertainty.

So if everyone agrees to buy into the belief that there is going to be lack and hardship then that will become the perfect manifestation.

I personally believe that…

” a crisis for the masses is an opportunity for the individual”

I guess that is a belief and I quite like it and it happens to be my truth as I have entertained this line of thinking  for many years.

OK. Things are tough out there and many people and businesses are struggling and new solutions are urgently needed.

The first thing is to accept this. The second thing is to take control of your own thoughts, beliefs and attitude. Why?

Because these are in your control.

The economy, the banking system and what is communicated in the news is not in your control.

We are entering into a period where each person has the opportunity to take charge of the way he or she thinks, believes and acts.

Mental attitude is going to be king in these challenging times.

Here are some suggested simple steps to help you wade through the bad news we keep hearing and seeing daily..

- Reduce or stop watching the news

- Refrain from joining in with doom and gloom stories of where the world is heading

- Become aware of the inner conversations with your self and when negative thoughts arise flip switch to finding ways to feel good and find something inspiring to do.

- Find ways to give to and uplift others. Unconditional giving moves you beyond your ego survival to deeper feelings of abundance and well being.

- Read inspiring books to uplift the soul

- Take time out and enjoy nature

- smile alot

- Give thanks daily for what you do have – gratitude changes attitude

I could go on and on and I am sure you have got the point from this article.

Consider this message as a trigger to shift or maintain your upbeat mental attitude as we move swiftly into 2009.

Applying law of attraction in business December 13, 2008

There seems to be alot of information on Law of Attraction and quantum physics that millions of individuals are successfully using and yet the business sector is is lagging behind in what I see as a major opportunity to make a difference in their market segments – and thrive.

Businesses structures are crumbling and a new perceptions and solutions need to be introduced urgently for many companies if they want to survive the financial crisis.  I propose that attraction principles can be used just as effectively if not more effectively than with the individuals using this information.

I have well over 20 years experience in sales, marketing and management working for large IT and Telecommunications companies. I was trained on aspects of sales, negotiations,  account management, managing teams and so forth.  I learned a ton of stuff and applied much of this successfully.

I then trained as a business coach 7 years ago and could see that many businesses are missing out on a way of perceiving the world that could change the way they do business and do it with more awareness and power which gives them a new experience with clients which in turn leads to better results.

In the last 10 years I have noticed a shift in the way companies do business and we are now entering into a new paradigm of how to find and keep customers.  Also how companies manage their people for better results is shifting big time.  The old ways of traditional selling and taking a linear approach to wining businesses is making way for a new way of thinking and behaviour that many companies are yet to realise.

If companies stick with the traditional ways of doing business and not open to and embrace  a new way of thinking they will struggle big time.

In other words, companies will have to take the best of what they know in business, the stuff that works, and leave the rest behind and be open to embrace new ways of thinking, acting and behaving to thrive in these times of challenge.

I suggest that businesses start thinking from the space of attracting customers to them which is based on setting up the thinking process and behaviour that has a resonance with the market they are addressing.

This is done by investigating the collective beliefs and thoughts of the company. To update or change these beliefs and begin to introduce the power of deliberate intention in terms of who the company is, what they represent and what unique value and benefits they bring to the market.

It is about going from competition thinking to cooperation thinking which is part of the new paradigm of business we are moving towards.

This article is about planting a seed to make you re think how to begin to re invent your business which is based on an inside out approach.

Law of Attraction and Neuroplasticity June 24, 2008

Recent findings in neuroscience has taken a quantum leap in understanding how the brain works. It is now certain that we are making new brain cells and neural connections in every minute which is very much in line to the thought vibrations approach discussed in the area of the Law of Attraction.

Before the introduction of real time brain scans, it was believed that a process of cell division creates brain cells, called neurogenesis, which begins to slow down in early life and stops when we reach adolescence. The result, according to scientists,  is that as we get older we simply base or behaviours on the way we were taught to think in early childhood to the point that our brains become hardwired based on early life sense impressions.

However, the discovery of neuroplasticity changes all this thinking to a much more hopeful view of life. We are creating new brain cells and creating new neural connections all the time. So this goes beyond the findings of neurogenesis that says we stop brain cell production in our teens and that we actually create brain cells and neural connections all the time.

No matter what your age, your brain is perfectly capable of creating new neural pathways which means that every time you have a new thought or experience, your brain is making new neural connections. It would seem that the neural connections form stronger pathways when you have bursts of inspiration. Inspiration is usually a thought mixed with an emotion which is the basis of how the Law of Attraction can be used to create new results and new experiences faster.

If you want to find out more about this fascinating subject, John Assaraf has written about this in his latest book The Anwser which cover aspects in neuro science, Law of Attraction and how to apply this information in building a business.

Law of Attraction and the heart energy February 11, 2008

I have investigated some compelling information in the role of the heart and discovered the electromagnetic field of the heart is far more powerful that that of the brain.

The Law of Attraction works at a much faster and powerful rate when the heart energy is fully engaged. Thoughts by themselves will not be enough to bring about the results we require and if we do get results from a mind based form of law of attraction these can be short lived.

I believe it is essential to engage the heart energetics in this process. Quoting from Doc Childre´s book The HeartMath solution.. “The heart´s electromagnetic field is approximately five thousand times greater in strength than the field produced by the brain”

When we engage the heart in a healthy way we feed it with vibrations of appreciation, gratitude, compassion, care and non judgement. By doing this our intuition gets sharpened and the brains and body gets nourished in powerful ways. The heart is the power center for this and it works with its own intelligence in line with the brain.

Using simple heart energetics techniques one can build up a lot of heart power which brings a sense of flow and well being to our lives. This is a great starting point to then work on creating intentions that come from the heart.

When we say “he has his heart in it” we are meaning that he is fully committed and fully involved in whatever activity is being carried out.

Activating heart intelligence + managing the mind + managing the emotions = energy efficiency, increased coherence, enhanced awareness, and greater productivity.

I can see that heart energetics to manage our emotions and guide us to what we really want is going to be the future in the way we think and create with ourselves, at home, at school, in the work place and resolving complex problems in society.

Your right to be rich January 28, 2008

Today I was reviewing the first chapter of the classic book Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D Wattles and it starts of explaining that it is our right to be rich and wealthy.

The word wealthy can mean a lot of different things to different people. Wealth for me could be more free time time to do the things I want to do and earning a comfortable income to support that lifestyle. For another it is about making millions of dollars.

Whatever the definition of wealth is for you, you have a full right to be rich. The reason for this is that money and wealth is basically energy and energy is neither good or bad. We attach so many of our personal stories to money and wealth. For example, “my parents were poor so I feel bad or guilty to make a lot of money” or “wealth is for others and not for me” or my favourite excuse which I have used in the past is “spiritual people should not get rich”.

The first step towards getting a wealth conciousness is to get clear on what your excuses or personal stories are. Realise that they are just stories and let them go. This process can take time as it has taken many years for us to buy into these stories.

To quote Wallace Wattles..

“There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. The desire for riches is the desire for a richer, fuller and more abundant life – and that desire is praiseworthy. The person who does not desire to live more abundantly is abnormal, and so the person who does not desire to have money enough to buy all he wants is abnormal”

Wattles finishes by saying..

“If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to yourself, to God and humanity, for you render to God and humanity no greater service than to make the most of yourself”

We are living in times where the old stories about wealth and getting rich are dissolving as we come to understand that with God or Spirit or Source Energy nothing is lacking except our own thinking.

Celebrate your successes January 25, 2008

One of the best ways to acknowledge yourself for all the great work you have done to get to your goal is to celebrate it!

Celebration is a great way to increase your vibration at a fast rate. Also it tells your subconscious that you acknowledge and honour yourself for the work you have put in to get to your destination. In a way celebration is a form of self appreciation which strengthen´s ones self esteem. The more we do it the better we feel.

There are so many people who start something, meet with challenges and when its done, it is onto the next thing without any self acknowledgement. This habit can create a machine like existence and we then we start to lose touch with ourselves and the great qualities we each possess.

A celebration can be taking time out to have bath with lighted candles, getting a great massage at the local health centre and taking the gold one hour option because you have reached over quota on your sales this month, to a weekend away because you have sold your house.

By acknowledging yourself in both small and large ways you are constantly supporting yourself and being your own best friend.

I am not proposing that you celebrate every time you say wash the dishes or clean the kitchen although that can be a help for many people who really cannot tolerate doing household chores. I am suggesting that when you set reasonable challenges for yourself acknowledge yourself, celebrate yourself, buy yourself a gift or whatever feels good for you.

I was inspired to write this article as today as I have completed 100 articles in this blog and I feel great for achieving this. I never knew I could do it in such a short time and come up with so many different themes. Tonight I will be drinking a quality bottle of champagne with my wife!
