Celebrate successes often August 14, 2009

I recently attended a course on accelerated learning methods to train other people to retain information for longer and in a fun way. One tip I can share is to celebrate your successes often.
When you acknowledge yourself for doing things that support you, you are telling your sub conciousness mind that you are there for you.
Fore example when I notice I am doing something good or right for me I will make a fist with my right hand and say “YES”, either I shout it or do it silently but with “feeling”.
Now this may sound a bit wierd for some readers. If you consider that this is all about raising your energy and the language of sub conscious is feeling and energy then what you are doing is anchoring moments throughout the day that support you. In time the sub conscious will get it and you will start feeling and seeing life differently.
So when I balance my bank account, go for a run, write a blog article, find money in the street or in my wardrobe etc I anchor with a “YES” sound and clentch my fist.
Notice that the top tennis players carry out this action when they make a breakthrough on court. What is good enough for them is good enough for me.
Try this simple technique often or when you catch yourself doing something right and support yourself and celebrate all your wins both small and big.
You have to be there for you. You are your own best friend.
