Attracting customers using attraction principles November 19, 2008

After spending many years in sales and marketing and now working as a Coach and using the principles of the Law of Attraction, I can see how very important it is to be clear and specific as to who your typical customer is. It is important to talk to the core aspects of your niche market rather than hoping that someone will show up and buy your products or services.

The Law of Attractions can be defined as “whatever I give my energy, attention and focus to the Law responds in exact mathematical exactitude to what I give out”.

How does this apply in the business scene?

If I am marketing a product and I am not clear as to who my target market is then the “Law” will give me back “fuzzy” clients – in other words a loosely defined market audience returns a mix of clients and most of them are not really the clients I may want to do business with.

Focus gives you power and energy and so attracting customers using attraction principles is about…

1) Clearly defining who your typical client is -  his or her habits, the type of lifestyle they live, what is their pain or needs. Is your solution what they actually want?

It is about focusing on “one” ideal client and not about focusing on hundreds of profiles of clients.

2) Identify your client´s hot buttons – what motivates them? where is their pain?

3) Create a Unique Selling point (USP) – in other words what key benefits can you offer that really turns on your client to buy from you. The USP has to talk to their pain and provide them with  compelling benefits.

People buy on emotion and not so much logic. If you can engage them emotionally, you can justify it with logic.

The language of the Law of Attraction is “emotion or feeling” so by working on the emotion of your client´s needs you will be ahead of the game because you are touching into the core aspects of your market niche.

There are other pieces to this puzzle, however, this article is a pointer as to consider the importance of focus, being specific and connecting to the emotion of your client niche. From there the Law of Attraction has something specific to work on and it will go to work in returning you the kind of clients you know you have a solution for and you can deliver with a high level of confidence.

Any comments or insights to this article a welcome

World financial crisis and positive focus November 5, 2008

With so much news thrown at us by the media on a daily basis about the bleak financial outlook in the real estate and stock markets, it seems that most people begin to close up and become tighter in their energy because the messages of “lack” and “not enough” is being fed to us continually.

When we become tighter or more contracted in our energy because of lack thoughts and beliefs, we can easily slip into survival mode and lose track of the abundance thinking and abundance attitudes that are within our reach  – if we just remind ourselves of these principles and apply them even though things seem tough out there.

I would suggest that when feelings of lack and fear arise, get into the practise of switching to thoughts of plenty and abundance. Even though it may appear a mind thing, doing this will change your physiology and help to re balance the fear thoughts that may take you over when you are watching the daily news. Even better… touch into the “feeling” of abundance and hold it for a minute or two. Gratitude for even the smallest things you have in your life can begin the bigger shifts further downstream.

Some positive focus is better than doing nothing!

Doing this for a minute or two and making it a consistent habit will shift your body feelings into a more open, relaxed and even abundant space. When this happens you start to become more receptive to opportunities and have more capacity to see opportunity where others see a brick wall.

We are in an era where mindset will be a fundamental tool and ally to move through the winter period we see in the world. I cannot change what goes on with the world markets, however, I can change what thoughts and feelings I allow into my mind and body through conscious switching into thoughts that will support and strengthen me.

Also doing something about my situation such as taking whatever action I can take, if It is clear a certain action needs to be taken, can help to shift positive focus very quickly.
