Applying Law of Attraction in the financial crisis October 8, 2008

We face very challenging times ahead as we witness financial institutions failing each week and people´s confidence in the financial system crumbling. People´s confidence in the Government to come up with solutions is weakening also which is leading to uncertainty and fear for many millions of people. How can the principles of the Law of Attraction help one to handle this period of economic instability?

I asked myself this question which lead me to ask…

1) Can I control how the banks and Governments will manage this crisis? My answer is “no, I have no control over this”

2) Can I manage or influence the way I think and feel about the financial crisis? My answer is a clear “yes, I can decide how I think and how I feel”

What I am pointing to is that you have, right now, a choice to think lack and fear thoughts or to choose thoughts of hope, opportunity and abundance. You cannot change what is happening to the economy but you can influence what is going on in your mind.

When applying the Law of Attraction principles – the words and thoughts  you choose will have a direct affect to what shows up in your life in the form of results. If I spend most of my time focusing on what I don´t want,  for example, ” I don´t want to lose my life´s savings to a failing bank”, there is a high probability that if these thoughts keep running my life I will end up manifesting this situation. You see, words and thoughts repeated over and over again become a belief and a belief creates the life you see around you.

By changing my focus to what I want creates a more empowering set of images in my mind, for example, “I choose to trust that the money I have in the bank is being taken care of and I am astute enough to know where to spread my money resources for the best returns and come up smiling”.

This approach gives me a much better chance to wade through this credit crunch period. The Law of Attraction is switched to support my empowering belief about my bank savings and may even nudge me to diversify my money and resources.

Also, no matter how bad the situation may look there is always opportunity knocking on the door. In the great depression in 1929, a significant amount of wealth was created by people who had adopted a  “mindset” to create that wealth.

In 2008, we have more knowledge of the workings of the mind and its power to help us create the lives we want than over 70 years ago. Also technology has help to open doors to countless of opportunities if we take the time to feed on the opportunities and starve the problems.

I read somewhere that “A crisis for the masses is an opportunity for the Individual”.

The choice is yours… do you choose to be one of the reactive millions or a pro active individual and take responsibility for your thoughts, feelings an actions?

Any comments on this article would be welcome.

Turbo charge your visualisation to attract powerfully October 1, 2008

Visualisation is a key component when working with the Law of Attraction. What many people are not fully aware of is that we have three modalities on how we imagine our world and how we manifest.

When these three modalities are fused together they bring about very effective and focused visualisations which quickens the Law of Attraction to work towards your imagined outcome.

The sub conscious does not know the difference between what is real and what is imagined. It simply follows instructions from the conscious mind and in time delivers you the results of the dominant thoughts you have been holding about a certain thing.

To turbo charge your visualisation there is a technique used in Neuro Linguistic Programming that employs three sub modalities…

Visual – seeing images, colours and forms

Kinesthetic – feelings, and sensations

Auditory – sounds and frequencies

When I think about a goal or project I tend to see the images in my mind (visual) and then I check into my feelings (kinesthetic) about the goal or project. I tend to be weak on the auditory, in other words does it “sound” like a good idea.

As I am now aware that I am weaker on my auditory, I make an effort to include sounds in my imaginary experience and bring my auditory perception up to the level of my visual and kinesthetic. When these three modalities are fused together the subconscious can really go to town and deliver a more fuller manifestation of that which has been intended.

Also, certain people have a dominant modality such as kinesthetic (feelings) or auditory and low on visual. We are all wired differently  and we all have these three modalities only that one tends to be stronger than the other two. It is useful to focus on bringing the level up the weaker modaility to improve your imagination for optimal results.

If you are a kinesthetic type and think you cannot “visualise” well in terms of seeing images, the answer is you can  – you simply imagine more with your feelings than with the visual part of the brain.

Many people have a fixed idea that visualisation is about seeing images in the mind. It is and it is only one aspect of visualisation. Get all three modailities working and you turbo charge your visualisation to attract powerfully.
